Quality Ricoh lens
 The two-in-one lens has 8
elements in 8 groups. The lenses are all of high quality optical
glass including high index glass and clearly demonstrate the benefits
of Ricoh's advanced optical technology and camera-making experience
in the clarity of the captured images.
Continuous Mode
Continuous mode is great for capturing fast changing action. At
one frame a second you can capture more than you need, then later
when you have time, edit out the shots you want to keep using
the PhotoStudio software.
410,000 pixel CCD
The key to image quality, the RDC-2's image-capturing CCD has 410,000
individual pixels and supports 24-bit color (millions of colors)
for high resolution images with more accurate colour.
High quality images
Thanks to the mechanical shutter and full frame image capture system,
the subjects of your shots have smooth outlines and focus is
sharp right to the edges of the frame. This quality input lifts
the quality of your multimedia output.

Fully automatic image capture
The RDC-2 brings the quality features of Ricoh cameras to digital
photography, to make taking great shots easy. Autofocus, automatic
exposure, auto-flash, auto-white balance and stepped auto exposure
compensation enable point and shoot image capture, by ensuring
balanced light and focused shots every time. It leaves you free
to enjoy the creativity of composing your image.
Tele/Wide Lens 35mm/55mm
A simple one-touch switch lets you switch between the 35mm and
55mm modes (in 35mm film format) of the compact two-in-one lens.
It widens the creative possibilities, giving you the flexibility
to close-in on your subject, or go wide to create a feeling of
size and depth.
1cm Close-ups
In Autofocus Macro using the wide lens, the combination of the
Ricoh lens, the sensitive CCD and superb autofocus capabilities
allows you to focus on objects as little as 1cm from the camera,
without using a close-up adapter. The LCD monitor helps accurate
framing of the subject, opening up a whole range of micro and
macro image capture potential.
Document mode
The sharpness of document mode is specifically designed to capture
printed materials. It is the easy way to include items of interest
from newspapers, faxes, even recipes into your multimedia projects.
