The RDC-2 is the true multimedia camera. Once you've captured the images
you want, you can input them directly into your PC with a PC card,
port them in, or view them directly on an NTSC TV. You can output
your finished work in a variety of ways, choosing the media that
best suits your message and hardware.
PC Card and 2MB of Internal Memory
The convenience of 2MB of on-board memory lets you capture up to 38 shots
in economy mode. It is very easy to copy the data in the on-board memory
to a interchangeable PC flash memory card to free up the memory, and
to transfer the data to a PC with a PC card drive. PC flash memory cards
allow you to shoot as many shots as you like, depending on the capacity
of the cards you are carrying. Cards are available
in 5, 10 and 20MB sizes. A 20MB card canstore 423 images in economy mode.
The lightweight memory cards, slightly larger than a credit card, give
you the flexibility to capture as many images as you need to do the job .

Sound
Recording
With each shot you take you can record a ten-second sound bite that goes
into the memory along with the shot. It is ideal for capturing the atmosphere
of the event you are shooting. Or recording specific details of the shot
such as the location, time and points of interest. This makes the RDC-2
the ideal business tool, from doing market research to location hunting.
Monitor the action
The convenient, detachable built-in 1.8-inch LCD monitor flips up to
let you frame and compose your shots with more precision. It allows
you to frame images more precisely (especially important when you're
shooting in macro), check instantly what you've just shot, or playback
images at your convenience.
