Ricoh
features
deliver convenience.
SmartMedia
Ricoh uses a new kind of storage media--SmartMedia--that gives
you up to 16MB of memory capacity in a conveniently sized removable
media format. These ultracompact, versatile cards allow you
to save images for work and leisure separately and facilitate
easy downloading to a computer with either the optional Floppy
Disk Adapter or the PC Card Adapter. The RDC-4300 accepts both
3.3 volt and 5 volt SmartMedia cards.
Multiple
Image Capture and JPEG
The RDC-4300 offers three different JPEG compression ratios
for each of the camera's two resolution modes. Normal is
the basic compression ratio; Fine recording puts the emphasis
on image quality; and Economy mode lets you maximize the
number of shots you can store on a SmartMedia memory card.
There's even a non-compressed option, for those times when
your subject demands the most precise treatment.
Monitor and Multi-image Playback
The camera features a fast image-capture system that feeds
even moving subject information to thebuilt-in monitor with minimal blurring. Of course, accurately
composing your photography on the easy-to-see 1.8-inch TFT
monitor is simple: the shots you take are identical to what
you see on screen. Reviewing
your work is easy, too. Use the convenient multi-image playback
function to look at 9 shots at a time. What's more, if you're
reviewing shots you've taken in professional quality mode,
youcan choose one of the images to blow-up to full-screen
size--or use the Zoom Playback feature to look at individual
shots at 2x magnification!
TV Set Output
Connect the RDC-4300 to a TV set, and you have instant wide-screen
viewing enjoyment! Simply connect the camera to a TV set's "video
in" terminals, and you can view picture playback.
