Auto Mode; Manual Mode
Ricoh designed the RDC-4300 to do most of the hard work for
you. Its fully automatic features allow you to focus on the
creative content of your photography with a point-and-shoot
interface. However, for photographers that prefer a more
hands-on approach, the RDC-4300 features a Manual Mode that
gives you broad control of the camera's functions.
AF
The RDC-4300 makes it a snap to take great digital photos,
both in Normal and in Macro mode. Ricoh autofocus features
achieve consistently accurate performance by dividing the
focus distance into 18 separate steps in Normal mode, and
into 52 steps in Macro mode. These fine performance gradations
allow the camera to deliver clearly focused shots every
time.
Flash
Mode
The RDC-4300's sensitive CCD makes even low light shots possible
without using the built-in flash, and this lets users save
valuable battery energy. When you do use the flash, you benefit
from advanced Ricoh flash technology to help you take better,
clearer shots time after time. You can choose from the Auto
Flash, Forced Flash, and Flash Off modes.
White Balance
Auto White Balance automatically corrects for discoloration
that can occur when light from various sources strikes
your subject. At other times, when you want to take advantage
of particular light conditions, the RDC-4300 offers three
additional settings: Daylight, Flourescent Light, and Tungsten
Light. Each setting provides white balance adjustment that
lets you capture your subjects with the light source's
distinctive coloration intact.
Ricoh ease of use makes the fun
easy to handle
Camera design that steadies your shots.
The RDC-4300 is designed to be compact and lightweight, so
taking great shots is straightforward. The bright, beautiful
images that you capture are thanks to Ricoh's advanced technology--without
adding bulk or weight to the camera's body.
80 Rotating Lens with
Interlinked Flash
The lens is conveniently mounted on a rotating assembly that
gives you maximum freedom to compose your shots. Whatever
angle you shoot at, the interlinked flash follows the lens'
movement and supplies just the right amount of light. To
capture the image of an object above you, just rotate the
lens and compose with the full-color 2-inch LCD screen. The
results? Clear, steady, well-lit photography.
Easy-to-use Mode Dial
A mode dial at the top of the camera body is positioned so
that you can easily change camera modes with a flick of
your thumb. It's so easy to use, you'll want to experiment
with all of the RDC-4300's functions!
